Joey joined the Percival McGuire team in 2005 as head of Percival McGuire’s brokerage division. In that capacity, Joey is responsible for that division’s operations. In addition, he will serve clients of the firm with specialties in office and industrial brokerage.

Career Highlights

Joey has accumulated 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. He was co-founder and principal of brokerage and development for a firm in Mobile, Alabama, where he developed numerous light industrial properties and a multi-state chain of ministorage facilities. Since moving to Charlotte in 1993, Joey served as an operating partner in a regional commercial real estate appraisal firm, and as president of a Charlotte-based
firm that specialized in the development and management of medical office buildings. Immediately prior to joining Percival McGuire, he operated Godbold Properties, Inc., serving the needs of regional and international firms in the areas of office and light industrial properties.
